Day 1: Melbourne City + Penguin Island
Arrival, pick-up. Famous attractions in Melbourne: City Council Building, St. Patrick's Chapel, Captain Cook's Cottage (at your own expense), Union Square, Flinders Train Station, Eureka 88 Building (at your own expense)... Wait. Head to Phillip Island, the habitat of Australia's endemic fairy penguin. Along the way, visit the MARU Wild Animal Park (at your own expense) and the chocolate factory with the world's highest chocolate waterfall (at your own expense). Arrive at Phillip Island before sunset to see the penguin parade and enjoy the special view of the penguin's return from the viewing trail that is extremely close to the penguin
Day 2: Great Ocean Road Day Tour
From the city, drive along the coastline, including the 180 kilometres of the Great Ocean Road, passing through the town of Anglesea and the Great Ocean Road Memorial Tower, with lunch at your own expense in the seaside town of Apllo Bay. After lunch, head to Port Campbell National Park Campbell National park), the Otway National Park, an Austrian temperate rainforest with endless greenery, and then the second attraction, 12 Apostles, is also one of the main and most spectacular attractions on the itinerary. Head to Darling Harbour, Sydney Aquarium ($42/$29.5), Madame Tussauds ($40/$28), and then visit the Sydney Bridge, Opera House, The Rocks and more. Cruise around Sydney Harbour at noon and enjoy a buffet lunch on board ($55/$39). Visit Bondi Beach, South Point Tsui, Suicide Bluffs, Red Light District, Oxford Street, and more.
Day 4 Blue Mountains
[ Safari Park, Aboriginal Cultural Show, Blue Mountains Cable Car, Three Sisters' Peaks, Jenolan Stalactite Caves]
Hotel pick-up and first trip to the safari park ($31./$17.) Visit and take a photo stop with koalas and kangaroos. “KOOMURRI ABORIGINAL CENTRE" to see an Aboriginal cultural performance ($20/$15). Lunch at Katooamba's Chinese restaurant ($18./$14.), followed by a ride along Highway 32 to the 1,100-meter-high Katoomba cable car station ($39/$21.) See the majestic and famous Three Sisters from a different angle, then drive to the Jenolan Stalactite Cave ($40./$27) to see the natural stalactites. We then departed for Sydney and arrived at Chinatown at about 8.30pm.
Drop-off on the fifth day
Free time + drop-off, back to the warmth of home.
