Day 1 - Hobart Downtown Take a walk around Salamanca Square in the port area and admire the city's classic architecture and new shops, with a unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in an English town, and it is well worth a visit. Afterwards, head to Hobart's Royal Botanic Gardens to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the flowers. Head to the TASS Museum (closed on Mondays) to explore Mount Wellington, the base camp where mankind's earliest expedition to the South Pole began, with its lush greenery and flowers, and rocky rocks and windswept peaks. Take in panoramic views of Hobart's Bernie South Bay and Tasma Peninsula, visit the Cascade Distillery and the beautiful scenery nearby. Day 2 - Port Arthur Cruise on the Tasman Peninsula After breakfast, head to the Tasma Peninsula to see the four natural wonders: the blowhole, the Tass Arch, the checkerboard road and the Devil's Kitchen Eagle Neck Bay. Then head to Port Arthur, a notorious penal colony in 1800 that was once used as a machine to hone gangsters into teachers. Separated from Port Arthur and Tasmania, a narrow strip of shark-infested waters known as the "Inescapable Prison", the only tools of guard at the time were guards and half-starved hounds. Take a cruise around the surrounding islands, retrace historical sites, and see the prison-style buildings that still exist today. Day 3 - Richmond + Mount Field National Park After breakfast at the hotel, head to beautiful Richmond and follow the Heritage Highway to the old town of Tasmania. This classic town has a long colonial history and is home to a variety of famous historic buildings, where you'll visit the oldest bridges, a Catholic church and Australia's oldest post office. Richmond is home to many cafés, galleries and craft shops. At noon, head to Mount Field National Park, Tasmania's oldest nature reserve. Take a leisurely stroll through the rainforest and see the famous Russell Falls.
